About the event
Come get first hand knowledge from judge, trainer and championship rider, Sue Machin, on what a judge is looking for when you ride a dressage test! Learn more about the differences between Western dressage and traditional dressage. You don't have to be a dressage rider to benefit from this clinic. Improve your Western or English equitation and help your horse perform at their best!
Sue Machin has been riding for over 45 years, and has been teaching for the past 15, specializing in correct basics and equitation. She is a USDF “L” graduate with distinction and judges schooling shows in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Additionally, she:
Currently shows 3rd / 4th level traditional dressage and has achieved
her USDF bronze medal on her personally trained horse.
Attended and graduated from the Western Dressage “Train the
Trainers” Clinic in 2014 and has several successful students.
Competes in Level 2 and 3 Western Dressage and placed top 10 at Arab
Sport Horse Nationals 2019
